            I know it would be a futile discussion, on whether Entity Beans
is worth the trouble or not. If most of your customers are happy using the
BEA product, kudos to you and the team there in BEA. You definitely have
done a wonderful job, if you have happy customers. But my opinions(not
assertions) are based on my limited experience and all the issues, patterns
on top of patterns, incompatibility b/w vendors that has been discussed in
this very forum & elsewhere. All of these would happen especially if the
underlying technology itself is flawed. That's what is worth arguing about.
Give me points on why Entity Beans as a technology is superior, then we
could have an interesting discussion. But in the end, if you say I have to
buy only BEA's product which uses a lot of fixes & functionalities that's
not in the spec then my point is validated.
