I do not belive that this is possible, however, it would be trivial to create a GENERIC message driven bean which can be configured to "forward" it's message to any other bean.
So for example, you could always put a reference to another bean in the deployment descriptor of the MessageForwarderBean bean, call it ejb/OtherHome. Then from your MessageForwarderBean, you can lookup the other bean with java:comp/env/ejb/OtherHome, call the create method, and call a business method method on the object you have just created. The other object would, of course, implement some sort of a well known interface such as "GenricMessageListener" with a method called onMessage(...), so that you can ProtableRemoteObject.narrow() the EJBObject you can from the call to home's create and call the onMessage function. -AP_ -----Original Message----- From: A mailing list for Enterprise JavaBeans development [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Sven van ?t Veer Sent: Thursday, October 04, 2001 5:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Statefull ejb & JMS Can a Statefull EJB implement the message listener interface ?
