Vishwas, Have you tried www.jboss.org? What about the appserver do you want to make fault tolerant? There is a fair amount of FT already built into the J2EE architecture (http://java.sun.com/j2ee/).
Good luck with it, Chris Thompson Software Engineer Empirix Bean-test -----Original Message----- From: Vishwas Raman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2002 4:11 PM Subject: JBOSS EJB Container Architecture Hi everybody, I am kind of new to EJB/JBOSS and pardon me if my question sounds too weird. I have been put on a project to explore the possibility of embedding fault tolerance in a general EJB architecture. I figured it would be easier for me if I took up an open-source EJB implementation like JBOSS and examine their EJB Container Architecture to see if I can add fault tolerance as a service. Is there a class diagram somewhere representing the architecture of the JBOSS EJB Container? Also I would be grateful if someone could direct me to some resources/research material available for this topic and give me some hints on how to go about doing this.
