I have recently been exploring the use of ANT in conjunction with creating EJB jars, WAR and EAR files for J2EE apps. Is there any standard for deciding what to include in EJB jar files in terms of classes. For example, if I have a DateUtility.class that is used by a session bean, as well as many other beans / applications, should I include that class in my ejb jar file, or leave it in a common jar file and include it in the server classpath, etc?
