Excellent, up-to-date (1/15/2002) linked and priced list of lots of UML tools, most of which support Java and many of which are free or under $100. Some very good free or cheap ones (I am comparing these to Together 4.2, for which I have a full license) I've tried and liked today: - Fujaba (GPL) - price: $0 - Sparx Systems, Enterprise Architect Pro - price: $149 Bad or so-so: - Metamill Software - price: $85 - Jsequence - price: $0 - Mountfield Computers, mDes - price: $65 Scott Stirling Macromedia -----Original Message----- From: Vincius de Faria Silva [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2002 3:29 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [EJB-INT] modeling tool Hey guys, i'd like to hear your comments about this situation. My team has a well defined development process, for developing j2ee web apps. This is a lightweight process based on uml diagrams. Our Java IDE is JDeveloper9i and we are happy about it. We need now to get a uml graphical modeling tool, which support the analisys/design phases of the development process. JDeveloper9i doesn't support all the uml diagrams we need. At the same time we don't want to spend a lot of money with a tool that will bring much more than we need(process development, java IDE and so on). I'm wondering to know what you guys think about it... thanks in advance, Vincius ==========================================================================To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff EJB-INTEREST".
