>From JSP, it's going to be difficult. You might want to embed an ActiveX/Applet in the web page to obtain it client-side. If you want to do it server side, you need to use NT Challenge/Response. This is bundled with IIS and only works with IE and variants(FrontPage, RealOne, MSN Explorer). Googling for:

But the easy way is to find out in the client-side, unless you're trying to make some security related desitions based on this(most likely). In such scenario you either: A) Make the users login.
