Two good news:

- indeed I had forgotten I had enabled gtk-debug, so I can now compile
ekiga without tinkering with the gtk+ code (which I know Damien has
modified in another branch, so it would be a bad idea for me to touch it).

- I could check that my fix is indeed a fix: creating/deleting accounts
directly updates the roster now.

And one bad news: I clicked on the video preview button, which made
ekiga crash. Now it's crashing on every restart because it tries to set
that up ; I have clues what happens and will investigate.
