Further information for using Ekiga with T-Online VOIP:

My setup which registers OK, cannot place a call.

Network Settings:
NAT settings
        STUN            yes
        STUN SVR        stun.tel.t-online.de

SIP settings:
        outbound proxy:         BLANK   (default blank)
        Forward URL:            sip:  (default)

Account:
        03222911XXXX  (telephone number)
        tel.t-online.de
        03222911XXXX   (telephone number)
        YYYYYYYYYY (password)

Advanced:
        telXXXX         (email address associated with the account - 
@t-online.de is
presumed - only enter before the "@" symbol)

        3600


When I call:

06966971234 (my own desk number)

the pretty T-Online lady tells me "try again later"

Now this might be t-online trying to force everyone to use their windoze 
XP client (in fact their own client that works with win2k no longer 
works), or it might be their misguided RFC interpretation. But it does 
work with clients "twinkle" and XTEN xlite.
