It should be fine as long as:

- the machine where you're running ElastiCluster on can reach the
private IP addresses over SSH (if this is not the case, you can start
a VM in your OpenStack project and run ElastiCluster from there)
- the machines can reach the internet to download software (this can
happen over IPv6, ElastiCluster doesn't care)
