Hello to all! I'm afraid I'm another newcomer who doesn't have much
in the way of German language skills!!!!

My father (Paul Kellmann born 1920), currently recovering in Hospital
from a stroke, has compiled an embryonic family tree. I would be
obliged if anyone could assist me, or point me in the right
direction, in expanding it.

My father's birthplace is down as Elbing, but I believe it is likely
to have been a village outside of the town.

His father was Ferdinand Kellmann 1893-1960, his mother Helene
Groeting 1895-1963.

My Great Grandfather was Franz Kellmann (born 1851) married to Rosa
Friese (1857-1925). They also had :-

August (no information known)
Franz (married to Berta ?)
Andreas (1896-1961 married Anna Wittki 1904-1984)
Elisabeth (1898-1989 married to Martin Frenken 1900-1954)
Paul (1900-1969 married to Franziska Cluczyenski 1911-1991)

Any information on these members of the famly would be appreciated.

As a result of the ethnic cleansing in '45/47 my fathers siblings
moved to what became West Germany, and I'm aware of and in contact
with this part of the family.

Any one able to help?

Tim Kellman
