New to the Group I would like to say "Hello out there"
Running a search on Elbing brought me up to this group and I thought
it might be interesting to see what is going on here.
The ancestor of my wife were born/lived in Elbing and after years of
researching the ancestor of her father -my father in law- which are
coming from Kernei I started now the genealogic research of the
family Kretschmann from Elbing.
What I know so far is the following:
Grandfather Erich Kretschmann, son of Otto Kretschman, born December
15th 1908 grew up with 10 brohters ans sisters (we know about Fritz,
Paul, Heinz, Erich). His wife is Ida Hoog, born November 21th 1907
Name of wife of Otto Kretschman is unknown, but after he died she
married again and had now the surename Quentin. Searching all
database I found no entries with this dates. Any idea? I totally
stuck and any help is more then welcome!
