Hi Mike KK5F, Yes, I copied your message from the K1 archives yesterday, and used it to further my understanding of how the offset works. I re-calibrated the VFO frequencies, re-set C13, all at midnight last night and as I was adjusting my antenna tuner on 20m a station from Seattle was calling me.. We talked and then a Bulgarian station tailended the QSO. He used a K1 also. We chatted with good copy and turned our power(s) down to 1 watt and continued the QSO... I guess the K1 is back in business !! I want to thank you very much for the great explanation of how the offset works. I would still be clueless and QSOless, without your help....
