I had a persistant, intermittant INFO 080 message that I finally traced down to a bit of slightly conductive solder flux between the two pins of the AF Filter board terminals. It was pulling the AUXBUS toward +8 volts.

I'd start by checking the voltages on the AUXBUS with and without the KPA100 attached. The AUXBUS ought to read 5 volts when nothing is happening. If you have a scope, you can watch the AUXBUS go low as the various microprocessors try to talk to one another.
