> a) Do you use VOX ? Yes, about 95% of the time when running SSB. The microphone I use is a homebrew boom-set that has an electret element. It has plenty of output and triggers the VOX quickly and reliably. I would very much like the K2 to have a dedicated vox on/off control. Having to cycle through the menu, especially on a "hold" type button, is a pain. It is hard to eliminate a sneeze or other sounds not intended for transmission. > b) If not, why not ?
