I am winding the toroids for my K2 SSB adapter.

After I got 22 turns on this thing, I noticed the insulation on 2-3 adjacent windings had (rubbed?) off, one on the top, two on the side of the core.

Not sure how I did this.

Not sure if the bottom of these wires is making contact with the core.

Does it matter? Am I messing up the lines of force in my inductive magnetic field or do I just rewind "to be safe."

(Tried to search the archives, but man, the usual toroid tining topic has created so much noise...)
