About 9 months or so ago, I went through the CW and SSB alignment process using Spectrogram. I was able to get the software loaded and running, but I could not get the filters aligned correctly using that method.
I then re-tried the method used in the manual, and was able to get them aligned in such a fashion that as I stepped through progressively tighter filter bandwidths, the signal stayed dead on in the passband, and that I was listening where I was transmitting (with the associated offset)... almost... I still had to manually offset the receiver with the RIT. I'd like to attack this again this weekend and do it right. I keep reading how easy it is to do this with Spectrogram, and I'm going to give it another go, but where is the latest and greatest guide to filter alignment these days? Can someone point me to the docs outlining most clearly, the filter alignment with Spectrogram? Thanks for your patience! John
