They can emulate the timing of quite a few other keyers, have lots of great features (including memories that can handle contest serial numbers, among other things), and you can get them as kits. I haven't had the opportunity to use one - just heard lots of good things about them. I'm happy with the K2's built-in keyer, but I may end up getting a Logikey just for something to build if/when I run out of Elecraft kits.
