I have been real happy with the Gali series from Mini-Circuits... they are strong, quiet and super easy to use. I have used them in several critical applications with great success... much beter than the oder MAR series. They cost a couple bucks each, and are in a SOT-23 case.

Microwave monolithic IC's are an easy way to from DC- 6 ghz, My favorite is the one with 200 mw @1db of compression. I use this for audio amps, RF drivers, and IF amplification.

They also make small signal MMIC's. The four lead device only requires 2 DC block caps, bias resistor. An rf choke and proper symetrical GND planes for over 50 mhz use,

I am building an amplifier for the 150khz aux IF. I hd a few idea's

  Oh, the mmic's cost 1.99
