Hi Mike Yes, I too have the DSP 59+, and use it all the time. Partly to supplement the K2DSP denoiser, partly to add some degree of filtering, but not much, and partly for an additional audio amplifier to drive my acoustic filter speaker. The speaker isn't real efficient, and takes more drive than a plain speaker.
One feature that's been there all along, but I just caught onto recently, is the AGC feature. I've always grumbled about the AGC in the K2. When wearing headphones and straining for a weak signal, a local S9+++ signal can come on and give me a big headache. The AGC feature now is working well and keeps the output surprisingly level. A great boon to headphone users. 73, Bob N6WG -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mike,W8KRR Sent: Tuesday, March 08, 2005 12:01 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Elecraft] DSP I'm using an old DSP-59+ with my K2 with good results. I'm curious - anybody else trying this? Mike _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
