Well, I had never read this procedure before, so I gave it a try. SSBA entry to BAL, then held VOX and got . . . nothing. Reply: -------------------------------------- Try activating BAL mode, go back to frequency display and then press VOX. Mine gives a display of 1.08 for a second or so then before reverting to frequency.
