Hi Chris, The KX1's hardware was very carefully optimized to cover the existing four bands (80, 40, 30, 20). It's unlikely that we'd try to put it on 60 meters. You can listen on 60 m, although the receive loss will be somewhat high because it falls between the 80 and 40 meter band-pass filter ranges.
The KX1 includes three different BFO modes (CW, LSB, USB). You'd want to use USB on 60 m, at least in the U.S. 73, Wayne N6KR On Aug 2, 2010, at 11:54 AM, Chris Jensen wrote: > When will we see a mods for the 60 meter band (5MHz) on Kx1? > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
