Now thats what I was thinking. It would be a little expensive but I would pay a little more for an Elecraft quality design not to mention the powerpoles. I would want a linear power but I thought that was implied. I don't mind if it has a fan that is a quiet as the pair on my K3 and only comes on when the load increases. I currently use a RV battery charge controller that does this. Its designed to charge batteries and run the DC devises when on shore power. I go from the charge controller to a Deep cycle gel cell to a rig runner. I have the 60amp model and I have never heard the fans kick on.
