Remote Internet control would be nice, but I'd rather it be a virtual control panel on my computer screen. Then I could travel anywhere and connect to my ham shack for remote operation. Maybe convert that RJ45 test jack to a ethernet portal?
The size of the radio is just fine as-is. You guys ought to try the FT-847 controls in a cabinet 75% the size of the K3. Personally I would like to be able to take the front panel anywhere on my LAN and connect in and operate the radio. A full internet capable connection would be even better. 73 K1NR 73, Ed - KL7UW, WD2XSH/45 ====================================== BP40IQ 500 KHz - 10-GHz www.kl7uw.com EME: 144-QRT*, 432-100w, 1296-QRT*, 3400-fall 2010 DUBUS Magazine USA Rep [email protected] ====================================== *temp ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
