Eric, I've always carried mine in a backpack, cushioned with bubble wrap, towels, etc. It's been set aside by TSA and run through the scanner by itself, and swabbed, but never had a problem. Never been asked to turn it on (I don't carry the PS). TSA at SFO seems to spot it, but they never do leaving Aruba with it. 73, andy, ae6y, p49y
