Hi Simon Just to confirm: you'll pay a Parcel Force handling charge and then VAT on the total value. There should be no import taxes.
If you have a dispute, it's easier to pay and argue afterwards, otherwise you won't get you nice new rig until it's all settled. Your letter from Parcel Force will give you options about how to pay (on-line, in person at depot etc), and there should be an option to collect your rig from the depot.
