Much depends on the specific adaptors you got: I have a Xircom and a
Prolific, the first is only good for the data interface (hamlib/xlog)
because toggling RTS/DTR is unreliable while the latter works flawlessly
under all circumstances (system: Debian Sarge, kernel 2.6.11.6).
