I use the MFJ-297 Desk Microphone with the Icom Cable since mine is wired for Icom Works great plenty of punch. Just remember to make sure you have your SSB Op1 Filter aligned. If not it will not matter what mic you use you will not sound good. The Mic has plenty of range and punch!!
