Hello,

I plan on operating the QRPTTF 2005 from a railroad on the Appalachian Trail today. The weather forecast is rain and a chance of thunderstorms so I am not sure how long I will be out on the trail.

The Reading and Northern RR Co. runs on the old Reading RR lines. Unfortunately the Reading Northern RR crosses the Appalachian Trail in the valley between two steep mountains. I am going to try to work from this location using my K1 and the VBWFPA vertical by WA3WSJ.
