The Sounds of Silence!

I guess there was no good answer.  I will conjecture though that if you use
the Line Out connection to the sound card in your computer, you could sample
the DVR playback with whatever audio recording utility you may have, save it
as a wav file (or whatever) and email that?

If you already have your computer setup for digital modes and use Ham Radio
Deluxe, that program has a recorder built in.  I don't know if you can save
it, but I'd be surprised if you couldn't.
