I've become a firm believer in air flow during rtty contests. I use a 24 volt 5 inch muffin fan blowing air down into the K3 across the PA fins. I run the fan with about 12 volts which cuts the noise down somewhat. Looking at the PA temp while doing this, it's hard to get it up much over 35C during a contest.
