Hi John, My K3 (s/n 4521) works correct, I think- hihi! I punch the I/II button for I, then set DSP for the bandwidth I want saved, then hold 'NORM' (is that what you mean by "SHIFT"?) until <SAV> appears, then rotate the knob to the left. I then do the same procedure for a different bandwidth and store this BW in II. Now to get to my saved bandwidths, I have to press 'I' or 'II' and it works just fine.
