I also did Lasik, and at my age, I went to the drug store and tested the "reading" glasses that worked best and I found the 2.0 - 2.5 do the job for soldering. I am selling off some used tuners to make room for the T1! Or, perhaps its time to sell serial #35 and build the next unit, just to build again.
