?Hi George - The most popular recommendation is for low-impedance unpowered speakers. Wayne, N6KR of Elecraft, recommends these. Cheap computer speakers work well, but may not offer the frequency response you want. Radio Shack has speakers.
Powered speakers are subject to RF interference as they are usually poorly bypassed. I use Apple powered speakers that I modified to eliminate the buzz and squeals from RF interference. 73, Monty K2DLJ I am looking for recommendations on external speakers for the K3. I am primarily interested in voice modes. I would use these primarily in my shack.
