SHIFT/WIDTH and HI CUT/LO CUT are two ways of ajsting exactly the same filtering at both IF and AF simultaneously.
Many operators find HI CUT/LO CUT easier to use when operating SSB, and SHIOFT/WIDTH easier to use when operating CW and DATA modes. 73, Lyle KK7P > I thought width and shift was in the I F and cut in the audio.
