My thoughts exactly - even though Writelog provides a PTT output, it will withhold keying until after PTT time - and the K2 will not care - it waits until it sees a closure on the key contacts to transmit anyway.
The K2 PTT input is only a PTT input when in SSB mode - it is the DOT input line when in CW mode. In cases like SO2R operation where PTT steering is being used, there will be a problem unless the key line is also steered. One solution is my CW PTT circuit which may be seen on my website www.qsl.net/w3fpr or the mirror at http://home.earthlink.net/~w3fpr. 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > > > Why would you need to do that?
