Good points, Ron. And you have also answered my biggest concern with using the AF-1 as an external solution...finding a suitable enclosure (without actually rolling my own...I'm lazy, I guess!). The W8FGU enclosures are very cool! I am constantly amazed at the number of talented folks that have created neat products to enhance the Elecraft kits!
