Hi Stan, Yes, I was running 100 watts during the contest. If I'm going to sit in front of my radio all weekend then I want LOTS of QSOs! So, I turn up the power. I was single band on 20m all weekend (I like being able to get a good night's sleep!).
I'm using a vertical and worked 290 stations in 87 countries and 25 zones. I would have liked more QSOs but I napped through some critical periods on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I'm very pleased with my country and zone totals though. I'll be ordering my AF-1 and cabinet next week. Hope we can compare notes when they're built! 73 - Ken VE3HLS --- On Tue, 11/30/10, stan levandowski <[email protected]> wrote: > From: stan levandowski <[email protected]> > Subject: RE: [Elecraft] My K2 in CQWW CW > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected] > Date: Tuesday, November 30, 2010, 8:18 PM > On Tue, Nov 30, 2010 at 7:38 PM, Ken > Alexander wrote: > > > Pure joy!
