Benjamin, If you are referring to ESSB mode, the K3 already includes it, you only need to 6 kHz filter. That filter will also allow you to transmit AM with the K3. If you want FM too, you need the 15 kHz filter. These are all generated in the K3 DSP, no hardware mods to add these modes. The K3 DSP also controls the transmit bandwidth.
