     Conditions were rough this afternoon and evening.  Forty meters was  
especially so but that may have been due to the snow storm I was in at the  
time.  Very dry snow was falling and producing large amounts of QRN.   
There was a lot of fading going on too.  Stations would check in and be  
gone before they were done with their report.
