I have K3 s/n 1826 that I love. I just installed a KXV3 (not KXV3A) I/F adapter. The problem is that when I try to do the Milliwatt TX Gain Calibration procedure, I get errors. I connected a dummy load to the XVTR jack and put the KXV3 into TEST mode. The procedure looks fine on 160 M, yielding 1.00 mW. The other bands give low or 0.00 readings and return the TXG error. Am I doing something wrong? Should I have clipped the W1 and W2 jumpers on the RF PCB? Thanks for your help.
