There's a reason why Norton comes free with many computers (guess why?). The program is, IMHO, junk...and it is the first thing that comes off of any commercial box I or my wife buy. There are at least two problems with it...(1) it steals 'way too many clock cycles, and (2) it has a tendency to give specious warnings. The warning about Spectrogram is one of this type. I think David Gilbert is spot on...Norton is a form of malware.
