That would be my first choice as well. I started with 2.7, 1.8, and 400, then added 250. In a CW or RTTY contest, I wouldn't be without 400 or 250. I mostly run the IF between 400 and 200. A 1.8 roofer is simply too wide for CW, and there are times when 250 is too narrow.
