Ken, Yes, the KSP2 menu entries are a litle bit clumsy, but if you follow the directions you can get it done. I know you will hae to fumble your way through them 3 times before it seems OK.
Specifically, to get CF1 back to the LOPASS setting, Tap DISPLAY to bring up the KDSP2 menu - the first letter of the displayed menu is the mode, and the number is the filter. If not correct for the filter you wish to change, tap MODE or press AFIL until it is correct -- yeah, I know, you have to tap DISPLAY each time you want to check it, the DSP menu is not "sticky". OK, so you have C1 nr nt on the display - hold the RCL button to move to the next menu. You should see something like C.1 .60 .80 on the display. Note the position of the blinking dot - that is the parameter that may be changed by tapping the BAND+ or BAND- buttons. To move the blinking dot to the other parameter, hold the STORE button. In the case of the CW display, the first number is the center frequency, and the second is the width. To get the LPASS filter in CW, increase both the center frequency and the width to their respective maximums. 73, Don W3FPR On 1/3/2011 9:24 PM, Ken Alexander wrote: > Fat, clumsy fingers; that's what I've got! > > I decided to start on one of my Christmas holiday projects tonight: learning > how to find my way around the KDSP2 in my K2.
