Yes. With N1MM you just add the macro {CLEARRIT} and it works fine with the
K3. Other radios, such as Icom, do not process a 'clear rit' command string.Tom - W4BQF -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark n2qt Sent: Monday, January 10, 2011 3:14 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Elecraft] clear RIT upon tuning in K3? Is there a way to zero the RIT control when tuning the main tuning knob? During the rtty contest I would ride the RIT control while running and then forget to zero it when changing to S&P. I've looked through the K3 manual and programmers reference along with looking through the N1MM manual (If there was a macro that would execute when changing from RUN to SP I could do it that way).
