I figured that is the reason left-handers are so accident prone. It is sometimes difficult to adjust to a right-handed world. I'm a woodworker and have found myself in awkward situations because of being left-handed. However, I NEVER pull the switch until I think about what would happen if I slipped or otherwise lost my balance.
Both the M1 and the M14 were awkward for me. I had to laugh at the comment by the ex-Marine who told Fred the M1 had a habit of ejecting hot casings into his shirt. Definitely been there more than once. BTW, to me the K1 is a right-handed rig. A number of people on here mentioned that they tune the K1 by resting the last 3 fingers of their right hand on top of the rig and tuning with right thumb and forefinger. Because of the assymetrical panel on the K1, this doesn't work with the left hand as your hand covers up the LCD as you tune. Not an issue with the K2 as the front panel is symmetrical.
