Page 55 of the KPA100 manual recommends removing the K2's frequency counter cable when the KPA100 is installed, since leaving the cable in "may" cause an increase in the amplitude of spurious signals.
Since the manual says "may" and I'd really like to leave the cable in, what are people's experience with this? Do you hear a notice-able increase in spurious signal amplitude? If the answer really is "yes, remove the cable", is there any other way, short of disassembling the K2/100 and inserting the cable, to align the K2's filters?
