With all the email traffic on the K3 and the microKEYER II / updating software, I felt compelled to respond.
I have the K3, the P3, and the microKEYER II. For the past two years I have used the microKEYER II as the transport for upgrading the K3 and for four months for the P3. I upgrade on every beta. I have not had one failure in this time frame. Who knows, however, when things might change? Now I understand why microHAM says no, but I can tell you that it's all in setting up the urouter for the upgrade -- you cannot use the same settings you use with normal CAT. That said, YMMV.
