Hi All, K3/100 #5102 is now sitting on my desk and playing well. The kit went together like a dream and the firmware updating with the K3 Utility and the various calibration steps were a breeze. A lot of enthusiastic advice from list members helped me chose my options and I couldn't be happier with the way my K3 is configured. Thank you especially to whoever it was (I can't recall) who advised me to figure the KXV3 into the initial build, rather than wait and add it later. I now see why.
Another fun Elecraft build. I'm looking to try for the Elecraft CC for fun, so if you hear me around, please give me a shout.
