Johnny, LIPOs have a tendency to burst into flame if not treated with great 
care. I always carried my RC lipos in a metal container after having one burst 
into flame. Scary! 

I know some are using Lipos and they are a option, so please do not send me 
hate mail if you have gone that route. :-))
