Sorry all, I fumble-fingered the SEND button. Sorry about the tape Chuck. Actually, you can use anything that will stick it down. If you use RTV, be careful that it does not creep into the display window (actually that is a good method, but not without hazard). Duct tape will work, but it does harden with age. Scotch transparent tape actually works quite well - get enough of the adhesive surface on the metal and it will stick for a long time. Other glues that will work well are found as "Glass and Bead Glue" in craft stores - the same cautions as for the RTV apply.
In other words, just "get it stuck on" with a glue that will last and not make a mess.
